Our parent volunteers Mdm Juanita, Mdm Rita and Mdm Mardiana took part in our school emergency exercise on 31 Jan 2008 between 10am to 12pm. They were playing the role of parents of traumatised child, missing child and badly injured child. They also assisted in the make up of the casualties. The parents volunteers feedback that this was an eye opening experience to them and they were glad that they were able to learn the procedures and precautions taken during an emergency.

Chinese New Year Shopping Trip 2008

Time : 9am-4pm
A CNY shopping trip was organised for staff, parents and pupils on 26/1/2008 to various warehouses at woodlands and chua chu kang. Non-chinese staff also support the event sportingly, they were Mdm Shanti (HOD English), Mdm Nur Jannah (HOD Maths), Mdm Sadiah (stairwelfare Chairman, SH-Malay), mdm Loshini (staffwalfare vice chair) and Mdm Keisha. Our school principal Mrs Chew and her family as well as our vice principal, Mrs Tan were onboard as well.

Preparing your child for P1
P1 – Healthy Meal Programme 2008
P1 Food Package 2nd - 4th Jan 2008
The Healthy Meal Programme is one of the school’s initiative which aims to cultivate good eating habits through an integrated induction programme for all our Primary 1 children.
The programme will run for the first three days . During the programme, your child will learn to eat healthy meal prepared for them and cultivate good eating habits of having
a well-balanced meal during their recess time. The healthy meal will consist of main meal, dessert and our school’s bottled drink.
Research has shown that food preference are generally acquired during childhood and that eating habits
acquired after adolescence are resistant to change. Therefore, the school plays an important role in cultivating good eating habits and providing the environment that is conducive to the adoption of healthy eating practices. Apart from that, your child will also learn proper table manners lesson conducted by our teachers.
